ZIELINSKI FAMILY
Stable families our fundamental to a stable society. Our family is not perfect but love is foundational to our relationships. I believe it is vital to improve policies and legislation to help families. That is why I would like to focus on improving our local community through leadership and involvement that improve our economy, provide access to child care, health care affordability and quality education for our children and grandchildren. I support pro-life issues and I believe our first right is that of being born.
"Non erit impossible" - For with God nothing is impossible.

VOTE for Sheila Zielinski for Republican Indiana House Representative #28
My vision is serving our community to create a more thriving and prosperous place to live. By fostering an environment where every voice is heard and every individual has the opportunity to thrive. I seek to build a future where communication and opportunity intersect. This section is dedicated to outlining my core areas of focus and the approach towards achieving the vision for district #28.
Strong & Healthy Communities
Areas of Focus:
FAITH
FAMILY
FRIENDS
FINANCE
FREEDOM
FUN

FAITH
Mother Theresa has always been an inspiration for me to strive to be better and do better. I have this poster on my office wall and it serves as a daily reminder of the importance of prayer but also the call to action - works are essential. We need strive for peace in our world but it starts at home. How we treat each other matters. I want to work on ways to build a better community lifting everyone up.
FAMILY
Family is the cornerstone of our lives, providing support, love, and a sense of belonging. They are our first teachers, guiding us through life's challenges and celebrating our successes. Family connections foster unity and strengthens the bonds that help us to navigate the world together. Ultimately, family is vital to shaping who we become and our overall well-being.

FRIENDS
Community plays a vital role in our lives, providing support, connection, and a sense of belonging. They enrich our experiences, allowing us to share joys and challenges together. Building strong relationships within a community fosters collaboration and understanding, creating a more fulfilling life. My 40+ years of nursing experience has helped me to understand the varying needs within our community such as opioid epidemic, health care access and mental health needs. Working in Haiti has helped me to understand how to care for patients with limited resources, creative problem solving and the value of human dignity.
FINANCES
A strong economy plays a vital role in healthy communities by creating jobs, fostering businesses and innovation. A robust economy generates revenue that can be invested back into community services, infrastructure, and education which leads to a more prosperous and resilient community where everyone can flourish. It is vital to create community partnerships between business and schools to improve public services and infrastructure. I value farmers and understand it's importance our district has over 80% of our land dedicated to agriculture.

FREEDOM
I have fond memories of rubbing the nose of the Abraham Lincoln statue for "good luck" during class trips to the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois near where I grew up. His words are still relevant today - plea for unity and compassion. In his second inaugural address, he called for "malice toward none; with charity for all". Today, there are many issues that create division but I would try to promote open dialogue, foster understanding and compassion for others.
FUN
Having fun with politics - WHAT? Is that possible? I would like to highlight FUN places, things and people that live in District #28. We live in a great community and sharing it reminds us of what we have and who we are. The older I get the more I know that you need to have FUN whenever possible! So join me in having fun...Please Pray for me & I will pray for you.
